Every one is running to get the public get hooked on to their channel. And this is done using or making news out of scrap to keep the 24 hours of channel running.
I learnt a new term news pollutions. Truly said.
In fact my wife Shobhna has coined the term "News Pollution"... :)

that's the right word for all the garbage news channels are throwing now days.
As you have might have observed these news channels don't discuss politics or government policies in details....
I suppose this is political move to provide gossips to the public..I think this is the best way to distract people to discuss on gossips rather than on serious social issues. If people start thinking on their problems their will be chaos....
I think we are using the term "news" wrong these days. Today news is when britney spears gets a coffee at starbucks. There are so much more important things than that. For example Haitan food crsis or Darfour crisis. But news broadcasters have to air what the people want, that isn't nessesarily what is important. Society is to blaim, what can we do...
